Today was a busy day. I had a lesson with my driving school, and I am not the oldest pupil, but today I was rather un concentrated and there was much frustration to me. Later Kitte, a nurse I am working with, phoned my wife , if we can meet her and Nole at the airport and bring them home. The one is afraid of flying and therefore took some tranquilizers and the other one dislikes the subway. They both were extremely tired and Kitte has an infection to her ears because of diving and Herpes Zoster.
I am building an Albatros D.V. (It is the Revell-offering of the Eduard model. ) and the new Hobby-Boss sea hawk in Suez-crisis markings.
In the moment I am listening to Powaqqatsi.

This morning I helped to telephone with an hospital in Norway. A friend`s (Kitte`s) friend´s (Dorte`s) family had an accident in Norway and are in a Sykehuiset. Dorte and Kitte grew up behind the Iron Curtain and so they never learned to speak English.
Then I went shopping at Hamburg with Jonathan, who bought some pieces foe a fantasy tabletop game. Weather was great. I stopped at a special bike shop (Suicycles) because Schnee`s bike Skinfaxa needs a replacement of her rim.

3:04 am
I phoned a friend.
He has finished his night shifts yesterday and can't sleep, too.
That seems funny to me.
He sits at his computer and is bored.
I finished an israeli Mirage III C.
Not in my common scale but in 1:48, what is extremely tall for me.
It was easy and is simple.
Built out of the box but with blackened rivets and panel lines on a nice natural metal finish.
The Mirage is an old delta wing fighter who looks fast and powerful.
I am building an other much more difficult Mirage model in 1:72 highly detailed with photo etched metal and tiny resin parts. It is nearly finished since a long time.
I have to glue the cockpit-hood on it, to mask it and then to spray it.
But something makes me wait.
2:42 am
In this sleepless night i fed google with "Ki-61 Kobayashi" to find some links about this famous japanese pilot and his planes.
And I got a link to my own live-journal.
Funny!
Tomorrow I have a free day.
For some unknown reasons I cannot sleep this night.
So I decided to take place in front of the computer and to listen to some downloads.
I collected several variants of the Pachelbel-Canon, searched for Miles Davis' Time after time and got an incomplete Haydn trumpet concerto in d, what is one of my favorite pieces, although my most liked sentence (? Satz!) is missing.
I once tried to play it for my own years ago, when I lived in a kind of monastery.

9:23 pm
I had an other ugly shift this morning.
When I came home Jeremias mi youngest son was in bad mood.
He was not at the Kindergarten, because he felt ill, and had been in bed the morning.
So we went eating an ice-cream and bought bread and some other thing.
Then I told Andrea as I did before that I wanted to sleep a while.
She did not like it and really woke me up after ten minutes.
So now I am absolutely tired, but have to prepare breakfast when the dishes are cleaned.
Tomorrow I have to sleep after work.
I hope work will be nicer again.

Oh, and I just found out that the life like decals of the 244th air regiment will be released soon!
I am waiting for them since at about one very long year.
They are about very colorful japanese homedefence fighters.
Mainly Ki-61-I.
One Ki-100 flown by Teruhiko Kobayashi.
Two Ki-27.
I am a fan of the Ki-61.
Why not?

Otto biplane pusher
I got my ebayed Otto-pusher-model.
It is nearly impossible to build.
There are only the main-parts made as vacu-parts.
This means they are pressed in a half form. only one side is detailed.
The interplane-struts are long plastic sticks I have to cut myself.
The booms are produced the same way and there is no view to give the measures because it is a side view and only shows the diagonal length.
Some parts (motor, prop wheels) are white-metal.
What wonderful fun this will be!!

At work it was rather ugly today.
We were not enough people and had about 13 operations today.
Some were minor ones and two stayed at the intensive care.
But it was extremely turbulent.
I had to work one hour longer and have to come back tomorrow morning.
Not enough time to sleep.
12:15 am
work
I made the afternoon-shift today.
It started with a meeting: They changed our station-leading nurse.
So we all were rather shaken.
Then a woman who had an operation outside which became larger then expected and therefor had to come to our hospital collapsed when she went to the toilet before we could check her pressure.
The reanimation team was fast as always, but it was not so serious I think.
She stayed sitting on the toilet while collapsing and so the cerebral blood supply stopped or was down.
If she had fallen to the floor everything had been alright instantly.
Bah.
The doctor injected her a lot of diazepam to stop her epileptic attack.
We did not loose her and most things went well.
The involved student-nurses were jazzed.
I am happy they did not collapse either.
At the end of the shift we got a little boy with an appendix and an old couple with COPD.

So I stayed exactly an hour longer at work.
But except for this, everything today was rather fine.
My daughter Johanna bought pink shoes with purple hearts.
She is happy.

3:47 pm
For some unknown reason I sometimes fall asleep as late as after 4 a.m..
That makes me lazy the next day.
Bah.
I cleaned the house, because Andrea is ill.
She is better than yesterday, but looses her speech.
That makes her angry because she wanted to sing with the chorus at the church on sunday.
Jonathan and Johanna are on a trip with the scouts / pathfinders / Fähnlein Fieselschweif ...

11:55 pm
I just bought a Hannover Cl.IIIa at Ebay, what i tried several times before.
This is a biplane from the first World War.
It is a difficult model with injection molded plastic parts, metal parts and very small photo etched parts.
The decals are difficult.
It will be a lot of fun.
It is sold out in shops since several years.
The shift at work was heavy. Several operations, two of them collapsed, when I mobilized them.
Not much fun today.
Kathrin, a crazy chirurgical, nurse tried to offer me a young dog.
She had some fun today.
A patient, burnt by a overdoses of radiation therapy, came back today.
Last time he was in our clinic I had a lot of time to talk with him.
I will try to get him into my part of the station, where he belongs, because he is a first class one.
Schnee seems to be still depressed.
Bennie who works at a hospital in Hamburg asked me to join there.
But they do only endoprothetics ( artificial articulations / hinges), what I think is a little boring.
I am listening to soul goddess by Ramsey Lewis.

Parents
I am at my parent's house.
I am here for a holiday-week with my children, but without my wife.
She needs a little bit time to relax.
Here it is rather chaotic.
My parents are messies.
They are very nice with the children but unable to handle them.
The children relax here quite well.
They are allowed to do nearly everything, to put their playthings everywhere, to use every tools in the garden and to go everywhere.
Beneath this there are no rules.
There is no time to eat or to go to bed.
They always fall into rivers and lakes, they become really dirty all the time, because my parents walk with them to the horses, into the forest to old bridges and are unable to control them.
My job seems to be:
Washing clothes.
Making food.
Giving medicine.
Washing children.
Using their rotten vacuum-cleaner.
Bringing the children to bed.
Bah!
It is like my parents are playing the whole day.
I invited schnee to stay here some days.
But he suffered to much and became depressive and so he left again.
I am ashamed and angry because of my parents.
I love them too.
It is confusing.
I will be happy when I am at home again.
